a little bit of history
I have always been passionate about health and healing. I was brought up on herbal remedies, sage for an itchy scalp, peppermint for tummy ache, fresh elderflower tea for insomnia. I even remember consulting Culpeper’s Complete Herbal to help cure the various ills of our pet chickens...
Prior to my training, I spent many years as an expedition leader, taking groups into some of the most challenging parts of the world, where I was inspired by the use of natural remedies to treat all manner of ailments.
As a complementary health professional I treat people from all walks of life with all kinds of problems, but my work over the last three years has led to a particular interest and expertise in paediatric health, including treatment of mum and baby from pre-conception care through the first delicate years of baby's life. I also have a particular interest in treating hormonal and digestive problems, chronic fatigue, allergies, fertility, and children’s health and behavioural problems.
In addition to my practice I run courses and workshops, write health articles for local and national press and provide technical support for a local nutritional supplement company. I am also a busy mum.
